Bio
downdime are based in Leeds. The band name was dreamt up by Ged back in the days when he played drums in Boyracer. He first enlisted his mates Ste and Liz and then the three of them scoured the city for a drummer before stumbling across Eddy at a gig. Since then they have released two 7” singles (Seeds of Hopelessness, Hate the Morning/Joanne) and an 8-track album (Knowing Too Much), all on Squirrel Records. They have played with many excellent bands in the UK and beyond including The Cribs, Broadcast, The Clientele, The Black Lips, The Pastels, Piano Magic, Jeffrey Lewis and the Junkyard, The Thermals and Future Islands and they opened the 2009 Indietracks festival. The band are currently working on their second album.
